But close up, it looks like the facial expression on a VC Andrews cover! I still like it, but I thought that was funny.

She’s not a SGiPD. You have to know what that mean. And that alone makes this a great cover.

This was a fantastic interview, I always love to hear the story and thought process behind good covers, and unfortunately, not all authors get to be so involved. I also am not a fan of faces on covers, but the cover for The List impacted me immediately. I love that she’s alone, but surrounded by people, and that she’s clearly staring through the paper she’s already read in shock. Thanks for the great backstory!
